So, a reverb. You really need to change the title to "Creating ambience WITH reverb". Reverbation by definition refers to the persistence of sound after the original sound is produced. Convolution reverb is a reverb as much as traditional reverb.

It is a bit insane when companies expect loyal customers to buy their products and then pay endless fees (or deal with endless hassles) in order to protect THEIR profits. Companies should pay for the cost of their anti-piracy solutions, not the law-abiding customer. Imagine a grocery store that sold you a stick of butter and then charged you a fee everytime you needed to open the fridge to put some on your toast. It's this kind of rapacious corporate greed that makes hackers look like choirboys in comparison

I did a 350 hz cut on the main mix. What I found though is that whilst I got the sound I wanted, I lost the loudness. Any help would be really appreciated.

The plugin shown in this video is not reverb. It is technically an impulse response stretching technique that results in a blurred version of your audio on top of itself.

For me, the end of the phrase with the push highlights why it can be so killer. Feels like the pitch tone emotion frequency content, etc. are all perfect for what is needed for that second in time

I use Reason and the warp editing is good. Would you suggest Reaper warped editing over Reason? I’m not sure if I should try it or if it would be a waste of time.

Guys I have X-tension and its badass its not a reverb its more of an extender if that makes sense 😂😂 like reminds me of Half Time without the effect being pitched down and you blend with a mix knob. Waaay cooler than a reverb 😊

If release is the amount of time for audio to return to its original volume, why does shortening it reduce unwanted crescendo in a crash cymbal caused by compression? With the threshold set at 16dB and ratio 4:1, a release time of 1 sec causes a cymbal crash to swell up horribly. Setting release to 3 secs ameliorates much of the problem. Yet the duration of the note may be less than 3 secs. Can you throw some light on the matter?

I own this plug-in but I think I realized I don’t use it because it doesn’t have band-SOLO buttons. With the spectrum split into 4 bands, I’d definitely want to take moments of solo-auditioning to fine tune the actual bandwidths 🤷‍♂️
